Economics Teaching Role in a Grammar School

A grammar school in Walsall is seeking to appoint an Economics Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a selective school that places strong emphasis on academic achievement analytical thinking and progression to higher education.

Economics is a well-established subject within the sixth form curriculum with students studying both microeconomics and macroeconomics in preparation for university-level study.


About the Role

You will teach Economics at Key Stage 5 delivering lessons that develop students understanding of economic theory financial systems market structures and global economic issues.

Students will be supported in developing analytical writing data interpretation and evaluation skills through structured lessons and case study analysis.

You will prepare students for A-Level Economics examinations helping them build confidence in exam technique and independent learning.

Key Responsibilities
