- Manage the Manufacturing Engineering team in Oklahoma City OK
- Oversee the development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes
- Utilize advanced analytical experimental and management techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams especially Design Engineering
- Lead efforts to improve efficiency quality and safety in manufacturing operations
- Translate quality cost and continuous improvement needs into actionable objectives
- Research propose and implement new methodologies and cost reduction initiatives
- Oversee development of manufacturing product routings and capacity models
- Assess and improve current processes for safety quality and cost eliminating waste
- Analyze and resolve process issues by identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Optimize process controls equipment layout workflow and workforce utilization
- Provide technical support and guidance for staff on complex process and technical issues
- Facilitate and drive organizational change especially in Lean transformation initiatives
- Lead and support Lean projects and activities to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure employee safety and morale through a safe and efficient work environment
- Coach and mentor employees in Lean problem-solving and efficient work practices
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Business Management or related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing with at least 3 years in management
- Comprehensive experience in personnel development conflict resolution root cause analysis and process improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training required (Black Belt certification is a plus)
- Strong business acumen leadership and change management abilities
- Extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence principles
