Job Summary
WasteFree is looking for a reliable self-motivated driver to join our recycling team PART- TIME. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently doesnt mind the night shift and takes pride in keeping communities clean and sustainable. Youll be behind the wheel of a U-Haul truck every Wednesday evening servicing our recycling routes and ensuring materials are collected efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities- Drive an assigned U-Haul truck along designated Wednesday night recycling routes
- Collect and load recyclable materials (paper plastics glass metals) from residential and/or commercial locations
- Verify and document all collection stops completed during the shift
- Report any route issues mechanical concerns or missed stops to your supervisor
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving large vehicles or box trucks preferred (U-Haul box truck or equivalent)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Comfortable working outdoors at night in varying weather conditions
- Punctual dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior waste recycling or logistics experience is a plus but not required
