What this role is all about:

TheFull StackDeveloperis a key role withinthe Digital Solutions team. You will play a critical role inusing your Angular skills todesigndevelop andmaintainthe digitalbankingsolutionsthat power theclient experienceof our financial institution. Reporting directly to the Team Lead Digital Applications you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust secure and scalable technology solutions that drive business transformation and enhance the experience of our customers.

This role is open to hybrid working arrangements within British Columbia.

What youll do:

Software Development

• Front End -Design and implementmodular high performance UIsusing Angularthat enhance Beems modern digitalbanking offerings ensuringhigh standardsof reliabilityscalabilityandmaintainability.

• Back-End -Developand extendrobust secure business servicesand APIsusing C# .NET.

• Cloud / DevOps -Work within a cloud native environment with containerized applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• QualityAssurance -Write automated unit and integration tests toensurehigh quality secure coding practicestailored to ourhighly regulated environment.

• Collaboration -Participate as a key member of an agile PODparticipatingin all designated agile ceremonies.

• Documentation Produce Technical design documents and commented code that adheres to company coding anddocumentationstandards.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay informed of emerging technologies development frameworks and industry trends relevant to financial services.

• Recommend and implement innovative practices tools and methodologies to enhance system capabilities and team efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners business analysts and fellow developers to gather and clarify requirements.

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.

What youll bring:

• Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 2 years post-graduation of hands-on development experience preferably within the financial services or banking sector.

• Strongproficiencyinfront end andback-endprogramming languageswith a focus onTypescript AngularC# .NET 10SQL Server.

• Hands-on experience withAzurecloud nativearchitecturesandcontainerized application environments.( first Microservices Architecture Service Mesh).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.

• Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and regulated industries specifically thefinancialindustrypreferred.

• Knowledgeor experience developing ondigital banking platformsis an asset.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $95000 - $106000
