Job Title: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical and electrical background with the ability to work across pneumatic hydraulic and control systems.

This position plays a key role in ensuring equipment uptime safety compliance and overall operational efficiency.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $25.00$28.00/hour based on experience

• Shift Differential:

  • 2nd Shift: $0.55/hour

  • 3rd Shift: $1.00/hour

• Schedule: 2nd shift with flexibility for additional coverage as needed

• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance repairs and equipment overhauls across production and facility systems

• Troubleshoot mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic issues

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals

• Support equipment operation and ensure adherence to safety procedures

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation in a timely manner

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

• Follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout PPE and hazard communication

• Participate in safety training and ongoing development initiatives

• Support production teams as needed and assist with continuous improvement efforts

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 23 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Experience with control systems or distributed control systems is a plus

• Sanitary welding experience is a plus

• Food or beverage manufacturing experience preferred

• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency

• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask

• Dependable punctual and able to work independently or within a team

Education & Experience

• Associates degree or technical training in electromechanical mechatronics or a related field preferred

• Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered

Additional Skills & Experience (Preferred)

• Building maintenance experience including plumbing HVAC or general repairs

• Experience with steam boilers and air compressor systems
