RN House Supervisor Contract Assignment Position Overview
A rural Texas hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor for a contract assignment on the day shift. The House Supervisor will provide clinical leadership oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts support nursing staff and ensure quality patient care across departments. Critical Care experience is required for this role.
Schedule & Assignment Details- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Holiday coverage required
- Oversee daily hospital operations and nursing services during assigned shifts
- Provide leadership and support to clinical staff across departments
- Coordinate staffing assignments and patient care activities
- Respond to emergencies and assist with critical patient situations
- Promote patient safety quality care and compliance with hospital policies
- Collaborate with physicians department leaders and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with problem-solving conflict resolution and staff support
- Maintain accurate documentation using the EMR system
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Critical Care experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- NRP certification preferred
- ATT certification preferred
- Experience using CPSI/Evident EMR preferred
- Previous House Supervisor or nursing leadership experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a rural hospital environment
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response abilities
