This position requires an Emergency Physician to work a variety of shifts. Come join a dedicated cohort in a well-supported emergency department. Youll collaborate with specialists in Internal Medicine General Surgery Radiology OBGYN Psychiatry and Ophthalmology and embrace the many rewards of a small-town lifestyle. Emergency Physicians require current certification in ACLS ATLS PALS or NRP.

We operate as four shifts per day one of which is double-coverage during the busiest daytime hours. Exact shifts/hours may vary based on department need.

Education Licensing & Experience:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Mandatory
• Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) Full
• Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) - Mandatory
• Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Emergency Medicine - Desired
• Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) - Mandatory

As per Ministry of Health policy all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections.
