Job Summary
Join Horry Electric Cooperative as a full-time Apprentice Staking Technician and begin your career in the electric utility industry. The Apprentice Staking Tech supports planning design and execution of the electrical distribution projects for the cooperative. Responsibilities include assisting in system design for power lines preparing staking sheets and cost estimates ensuring compliance with cooperative specifications and supporting permitting easement and right-of-way activities.

After an offer of employment has been made the cooperative requires the successful completion of a physical with drug and alcohol screening a physical capacity test and a background check. Some positions will also require a driving record.
