As a Security Officer in Saint Paul Park MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic petrochemical location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help reduce security-related this role you will support site operations through strong communication attentive observation and customer service. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Minimum 6 plus Months of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related screening and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents alarms unusual conditions and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility operational areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor information and support vehicle and pedestrian traffic control in accordance with site policies and post orders.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities incidents and patrol findings and assist with enforcing site rules restricted area requirements and other security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
