What Youll Do
In this vital hybrid role-combining both in-office and remote work-youll ensure accurate compliant and timely payroll operations while supporting employees managers and leadership.
Payroll Responsibilities
- Review pay totals and ensure all timecards are complete and accurate
- Process and enter salaried timesheets and WFH employee hours
- Audit training hours via Relias reports and adjust as needed
- Manage PTO payouts leave tracking and eligibility determinations
- Enter incentives bonuses retro pay deductions and garnishments
- Import/export payroll data and make necessary adjustments
- Run payroll reports for all facilities and distribute summaries
- Finalize payroll communicate completion and process ACH transactions
- Troubleshoot payroll issues process returns/errors and answer inquiries
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
- Support PBJ quarterly filings and related reporting
- Train managers on payroll systems (AOD/iSolved) and processes
- Coordinate reporting with accounting and external partners
- Manage garnishments including submission and tracking
Employment & Administrative Support
- Process employment verifications and employee file requests
- Handle unemployment claims research cases and participate in hearings
- Support performance evaluation tracking and process wage increases
- Prepare monthly reports (birthdays anniversaries etc.)
- Assist with audits (Work Comp 401k HSA) and special projects
What You Bring
- Experience in payroll processing (healthcare experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of payroll laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with payroll systems
