Discipline Specific Intern in Diagnostic Imaging
Job Summary
Paragon is a purpose-built multidisciplinary referral hospital in
the north of England just outside the City of Wakefield close to
the beautiful Yorkshire countryside with excellent roads links to
local airports at Leeds and Manchester.
We are offering a 1 year internship in Diagnostic Imaging.
The successful candidate with benefit from working alongside
some of the countrys leading specialists supported by a team
of skilled and compassionate veterinary nurses at a centre
committed to providing the highest quality of care.
Working as part of our team supporting our colleagues in other
disciplines you will:
Perform and report ultrasound scans under the guidance of
two experienced diagnostic imagers
Perform CT MRI and fluoroscopic studies after full training
Develop skills in producing high quality diagnostic imaging
reports on radiographic CT fluoroscopic and MRI studies.
Requirements for this position are:
You will have at least 2 years post graduate experience in
either small animal or mixed practice
Completion of a 1 year rotating small animal multi-disciplinary
internship at a referral hospital or equivalent clinical
experience in small animal practice
You must be a MRCVS and have a strong interest in small
animal Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.
You must have good spoken and written English.
The role will be a 5 day working week allowing for excellent
