Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Duration: 26 Weeks (High possibility of extension)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Shift Details:

• Primarily Night Shift: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Occasional Evening Shift: 3:00 PM 1:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid break

Compensation:

• Local Pay: $3000/week
• Travel Pay: $3600/week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacist to support medication management and pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Review verify and dispense medications accurately and safely
• Monitor medication therapy and evaluate patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams regarding medication management
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations policies and safety standards
• Provide drug information and pharmaceutical guidance to healthcare staff and patients
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Monitor for potential drug interactions contraindications and medication errors
• Support inventory management and medication storage procedures
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacist experience required
• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License required
• Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Program required
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices medication safety and clinical pharmacy standards
• Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
