Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team inNovi MI. As a Personal Support Worker you will provide essential care and support to our clients helping them with daily activities and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires empathy reliability and a strong commitment to client well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor and document client health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients families and team members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal support or home care is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
