Position Purpose

Ensurethat all aspects of the residents personal care and service planareimplemented while assuring that the resident is treated with dignity and respectassistingeach resident to be as independent and self-sufficient as possible.

Qualifications

• • Caregiving experience or certification preferred:CertifiedNursing Assistant (CNA) Competency Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA) Home Health Aide

  • Minimum of 17 years of age.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.

  • Must be able to pass the state mandated criminal background screening.

Essential Functions

• • Deliver care based on individualizedservice plans

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Bathing dressing toileting hygiene mobility dining)

  • Respondpromptly to resident requests and call lights

  • Observe and report changes inresidentsconditionto supervisor

  • Document care and services as directed

  • Assistresidents with meals and life enrichment activities as needed

Physical and Mental Requirements

• • Ability tolift upto 50 pounds.

  • Ability to stand walk bendandassistresidents in all aspects of personal care.

  • Handle emotional and physical demands of caregiving
