Responsibilities:
Community Health & Outreach Coordination
Coordinate and schedule Community Health staff for mobile health events outreach initiatives and community-based programs.
Plan organize and support mobile health clinics screenings and educational events throughout Bergen County.
Serve as a liaison between Bergen New Bridge Medical Center community partners municipalities schools faith-based organizations and other stakeholders.
Ensure outreach activities align with organizational goals grant requirements and community health priorities.
Scheduling & Operations
Develop manage and maintain staff schedules for community health and mobile outreach activities.
Coordinate logistics including locations supplies equipment transportation and vendor needs for events.
Track event calendars and ensure adequate staffing coverage across multiple initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to outreach activities and staff assignments.
Program Support & Data Tracking
Assist with collecting and tracking participation data outcomes and metrics for community health and outreach programs.
Support reporting requirements for grants internal dashboards and leadership updates.
Identify opportunities for process improvement related to scheduling outreach efficiency and community engagement.
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate regularly with internal teams leadership and community partners regarding schedules expectations and event details.
Represent Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in a professional and culturally responsive manner at community events.
Support promotional efforts by coordinating with marketing or communications teams as needed.
Position Qualifications:
Required:
At least 2 years of experience in community health healthcare outreach program coordination or a similar role.
Strong organizational scheduling and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Valid Drivers License
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word) and scheduling tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced community-focused environment.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with mobile health clinics or community-based health programs.
Knowledge of Bergen County communities and local resources.
Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the community) a plus.
Familiarity with data tracking reporting or grant-funded programs
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Combination of office-based work and community-based activities.
Ability to travel locally throughout Bergen County.
Ability to lift and carry light-to-moderate equipment and supplies (up to 25 lbs).
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on community event needs.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Public Health Health Administration Social Work Community Health or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Salary commensurate with experience within posted range:
$57k$75k annually
