Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist

STV is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Specialistfor our Buildings Division in our Douglasville PA office.

Successful candidates must possess a bachelors degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) from an accredited electrical engineering university.

• 9 years of experience
• Perform client-facing lead duties on numerous projects and is proficient in all our typical software programs (REVIT AutoCAD BIM360 ACC AGi32 Visual COM-Check)
• Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work.
• Ensures application of electrical engineering principles and design guidelines.
• Provide construction observation inspection and field support such as: answering RFIs reviewing and approving equipment submittals and recording existing conditions.
• Mentor interns and co-ops working under his supervision on his projects and assists other electrical engineers on their projects as needed.
• Develop cost estimates for the electrical scope creates project plan and project schedule.
• Obtain basic understanding of other trades such as architectural mechanical civil and structural.
• Strong time management skills and pays close attention to details.
• Adaptable agile and responsive to quick changes in direction
• Ability to establish rapport and credibility with clients and other stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills leadership and work well in a team.
• Actively demonstrate initiatives and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently.
