Located in our Dallas TX corporate headquarters the Sr. Associate FP&A Projects and Anaplan COE will be a member of the FP&A team within the Companys Financial Planning & Quantitative Analytics (FPQA) group. The Sr. Associate FP&A Projects and COE will be responsible for overseeing leading and managing the companys Anaplan Environment long-term analytical projects and new development of new Anaplan addition to these responsibilities this role will be responsible for providing analytical support for Invitation Homes executive leadership team in collaboration with Property Accounting Corporate Accounting Operations Asset Management Investment Management and Investor Relations counterparts as it pertains to FP&A and/or Anaplan. Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for overseeing updates of all key hierarchies in the Anaplan data hub and spoke models including but not limited to the chart of accounts hierarchy property list hierarchy and shared services for overseeing monthly updates data integrations and tie outs of financials and operational metrics within the Anaplan data hub and spoke for managing the Companys Anaplan roadmap and coordinating with internal and external teams to prioritize and implement the roadmapResponsible for developing and managing a team of analyst/analysts that are well prepared to execute the key priorities of the FP&A Projects and Anaplan and monitor Anaplan Licenses allocation Anaplan role assignments and Anaplan control in monthly quarterly and annual P&L reviews quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting processes to the via AnaplanApply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and create actionable tools such as Anaplan Excel KNIME Power BI Tableau and programming languages like SQL R Python for data solutions and relationships with various business units to identify opportunities for deep analytics on financial and operating performance business and functional requirements of various Anaplan initiatives or process improvement opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical designs align with with other functional areas of the business including the Property and Corporate Accounting SEC Reporting Business Analytics Capital Markets Operations Asset Management and Investment Management teams to review analyze confirm reconcile and report financial results and operating performance metrics at property departmental regional and corporate data and identify trends and key findings in both qualitative and quantitative data sets from various systems including Yardi the Companys internal Enterprise Data Warehouse Anaplan Salesforce ADP and various other opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses and processes to improve the FP&A teams productivity accuracy and efficiency over ad-hoc analyses and projects including automation of reporting from various internal software platforms creation and/or maintenance of financial and operational reporting dashboards and data business and functional requirements of various initiatives and collaborate with internal and external technical resources to ensure technical designs align with business with the Business Analytics and Technology teams to advocate for FP&As data and technology needs to enable successful execution of our Anaplan roadmapParticipate in and support user acceptance testing to ensure that project deliverables are completed in a timely fashion and objectives are duties as assigned. Education and/or Experienceo Bachelors Degree and strong academic record. Advanced degree (MBA MS JD etc.) or certifications (CFP CFA CPA etc.) a plus but not required.o Minimum 3-8 years experience in FP&A Anaplan and/or other connected planning platforms.o Financial modeling and/or business analytics experience strongly preferred. Skills/Specialized Knowledgeo Familiarity with strategic corporate performance management tools such as Anaplan Adaptive Insights Host Analytics and/or other IBM or Oracle systems.o High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook etc.).o Comfort and familiarity with basic finance and accounting theory. Ability to read and comprehend financial statements including both GAAP and non-GAAP reporting.o High degree of intellectual curiosity and discipline required. Ability to demonstrate strong self-initiative problem-solving and decision-making skills. Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.o Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations. Extremely well-developed analytical abilities and proven ability to continuously deliver results in fast-paced and dynamic work environments. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines.o Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; team-oriented.o Familiarity with data science tools including R or Python preferred.o Familiarity with Snowflakeo Familiarity with reporting tools such as Workiva SSRS PowerBI and/or Tableau.o Ability to maintain confidentiality. Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $108675.00 - $188370.00 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individuals skills experience qualifications location and applicable employment laws.
