Position Description: Senior HR Analyst Compensation & Benefits

The Senior HR Analyst Compensation & Benefits is a highly analytical individual contributor role that partners closely with the Compensation & Benefits Manager to deliver insights modeling and operational support across total rewards and broader HR analytics. This role blends technical analysis with practical HR application and is ideal for someone who enjoys translating data into clear actionable recommendations.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

Analyze compensation data to support salary structures job evaluations market pricing and internal equity reviews

Assist with annual compensation processes including merit planning incentive analysis and pay transparency reporting

Support benefits strategy through cost modeling utilization analysis and vendor data review

Prepare materials and analysis for leadership discussions on total rewards

Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports related to headcount turnover labor costs and workforce trends

Partner with HR leadership to answer ad-hoc analytical questions and support strategic planning

Improve data accuracy and consistency across HRIS and related systems

Identify trends risks and opportunities using quantitative and qualitative HR data

Streamline compensation and benefits processes through automation and improved reporting

Support compliance activities related to wage and hour benefits administration and internal audits

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance Payroll and HR Business Partners

Serve as a trusted analytical resource for the HR team without direct people management


Education:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Finance Economics Data Analytics or a related field


Experience & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in HR analytics compensation analysis benefits analysis or a similar role

Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling pivot tables complex formulas)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders

Experience supporting compensation and benefits programs in a manufacturing engineering or technical environment

Experience with HRIS reporting tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g. Power BI Tableau)

Knowledge of compensation surveys and market pricing methodologies

CEBS CCP SHRM-CP or related certification

Experience partnering closely with Finance on workforce cost analysis
