Experienced Labor Estimating and Pricing Specialist

The Boeing Company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Experienced Labor Estimating and Pricing Specialist to support our Vertical Lift programs out of Ridley Park PA or Mesa AZ.

This person articulates complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences produces accurate high-quality work actively contributes to team problem-solving and engages stakeholders with confident persuasive presentation skills.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops complex estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design build and aftermarket support stages of the program

• Evaluates requests for proposal assembles priced proposals and substantiates estimates/pricing

• Understands and utilizes valid estimating and pricing methods and validation techniques

• Evaluates and develops business cases

• Resolves database requirements and identifies appropriate data sources

• Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk financial competitive etc.)

• Develops and maintains pricing models

• Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

• Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals

• Leads compliance activities policy and procedure development deployment of new systems/tools training development/delivery and internal audits

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• 3 years of experience in a finance related position such as Estimating Financial Operations Cost Management Accounting Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

• Experience in supporting audit fact-finding and negotiations

• Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience estimating strategic studies work transfer proposals affordability estimates

• Experience with statistical data

• Strong communication skills and experience with leadership presentations
