Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in Jamaica NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety accuracy and compliance with all clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required
Experience operating nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging equipment preferred
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine training program
Military training programs accepted
Licensure & Certifications
Current ARRT certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine required
Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license with Injection Authorization required
Valid NYSDOH Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
AHA BLS certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with state regulations
Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment while ensuring quality control compliance
Monitor patient safety and provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures
Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to support quality patient outcomes
Additional Information
Day shift schedule with no weekends required
