- Travel Rate: Up to $3353/Week(based on experience)
Job Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a busy diagnostic imaging team in Jamaica NY. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety accuracy and compliance with all clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience required
- Experience operating nuclear medicine and diagnostic imaging equipment preferred
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine training program
- Military training programs accepted
Licensure & Certifications
- Current ARRT certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine required
- Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license with Injection Authorization required
- Valid NYSDOH Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
- AHA BLS certification preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with state regulations
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment while ensuring quality control compliance
- Monitor patient safety and provide compassionate patient care throughout procedures
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare staff to support quality patient outcomes
