The Data Analyst is a role reporting to the AVP Data Insights & Enablement. They will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of delivering insights gained from the extraction and analysis of data to improve business processes supporting the strategy and goals of Equitables Individual business. The bulk of the work will be in data collection and integration data exploration and preparation management and problem analysis and data visualization. This includes infrastructure for data presentation (dashboards BI tooling ongoing delivery of report etc.) and the infrastructure for data hygiene. The newly hired data analyst will be a key interface for the Individual business unit. You will work in our office in Waterloo ON a minimum of two (2) assigned consecutive days every other week plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum youll do:Working closely with the business and technical teams to identify the definition and analysis of how information assets drive business outcomesApplying detailed knowledge and hands-on experience of data structures and data warehousing strategies to contribute to the development and maintenance of business intelligence and reporting tools.
