Information specific to this position: Multiple positions available.

Summer school nursing involves:

• Collecting information regarding students with health conditions and medications for each summer school program.
• Contacting families medical providers and staff to ensure appropriate care plans are in place.
• Ensuring staff are delegated and comfortable with any required nursing procedures during school sponsored programing including field trips or off-site events.
• Taking calls for all summer school programs during normal operating hours.

Training: will be provided but experience with school nursing preferred.

Licensing: Must have RN license (DORA license in CO or multi-state compact). The requirement for SSP license is waived for summer school. Should the nurse wish to apply for a position in the Fall SSP license will be required at that time.

Pay rate: $45/hour

Work calendar days: Varied

Schedule:four or five days per week 4-8 hours/day depending on program schedules and needs.

Duration of position: One Year Only

Benefits include: PERA retirement

Payfor this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is$58000 - $89278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 6^th 2025).

This is a probationary position. However PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selectedwillretain contract status.

Must have a valid Colorado Educators License with appropriate endorsement.
