Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program Required
Experience
1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
1 year experience as a MRI Technologist Preferred
Licenses
Reg Technologist (R) Required
Basic Life Support Preferred
Reg Technologist (R) (MR) Preferred
Required Experience:
