Express Service Advisor

Chapman Chevrolet is looking for an Express Service Advisor to join our team! As an Express Service Advisor you will educate customers on the value of routine maintenance and repairs recommend services and keep customers updated throughout the service process ensuring each customer leaves the dealership satisfied with their experience. You will work closely with customers other Express Service Advisors and a team of Express Technicians and will report to the Service Director. Come join our team!

Core Responsibilities:

• Schedule confirm and prepare for customer appointments ensuring an efficient service experience
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer feedback vehicle inspection and current mileage
• Write repair orders for customers including cost and time estimates with full transparency
• Obtain customer authorization for recommended services and collect payment
• Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
• Follow-up with customers on the status of their vehicle and satisfaction of service

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience is required
• Prior automotive service advisor/writer experience is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills both in person and over the phone
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
• Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Hours and Work Environment

The Service Department is open Monday Friday 7am 6pm and Saturdays 7am 5pm. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability to work during these business hours. To support work-life balance we offer a Saturday shift rotation and 3-day weekends. The Express Advisor works in an office environment and in the Service Drive.
