Job Summary

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic craft beer lover Were looking for someone who is passionate self-motivated and who will foster engaging experiences through our front-of-house space in our Toronto taproom and event space. As Taproom Support you will be the main connection to our guests. You will be a face and advocate of our portfolio help to educate our guests be passionate engaging memorable and love all things art music and craft beer-related.
A typical day of a Taproom Support includes:
  • Working as a server bartender or retail associate throughout the space.
  • Sharing the story and ethos of Collective Arts with our guests.
  • Providing customers with information on all Collective Arts products.
  • Assist guests in making selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
  • Maintaining an incredibly clean service space.
  • Inventory load in and load out. This duty involves moving large quantities of product up and down stairs and is physically demanding.
  • Tapping kegs and managing the draught system & bar area.
  • Working with the kitchen team during food service hours to serve guests.

Were looking for candidates who have/are:
  • Positive extroverts and great communicators
  • Smart serve certified
  • Passion and enthusiasm for craft beer/ beverages and creativity
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to think outside the box and be resourceful in tough situations
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Can work independently and task themselves during downtime
  • Adaptable to a growing and changing environment

Bonus points if you:
  • Have worked in a scaling start-up or growing small-business environment
  • Have brewery work and hospitality experience
  • Have a passion for beer education or formal beer training (Cicerone Prudhomme)
