Position Title: Travel Pharmacist
Location: Hyannis MA
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Shift: Evening / Night shifts (9:00 PM 7:00 AM occasional 3:00 PM 1:00 AM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week every other weekend and holidays required
Job Summary:
Responsible for safe dispensing compounding and management of medications in a hospital pharmacy setting during evening and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and prepare medications per hospital standards
- Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
- Compound IV admixtures and TPN
- Support clinical pharmacy services and provide drug information
- Maintain inventory and medication storage control
- Supervise pharmacy support staff
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited pharmacy program
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
- IV compounding experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work nights weekends and holidays
