Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient orthopedic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong orthopedic rehabilitation experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises mobility training and functional rehabilitation treatments
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
- Educate patients on exercises injury prevention and home care programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support clinic operations and ensure quality patient care standards are maintained
Patient Population
- General Orthopedics
- TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) conditions
- Vestibular rehabilitation patients
Productivity Expectations
- Expected productivity: 60 patient visits per week
- Average daily caseload: 1214 patients per day
- Double-booking of follow-up visits expected
Requirements
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates will not be accepted
- First-time travelers will not be accepted
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required
- Ability to work independently in a busy outpatient environment
