Job Summary
SERVICE SUPPORT/EQUIPMENT DETAILER
Responsibilities
- Assists the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the department
- Cleans organizes and maintains the condition of shop vehicles inventory tools and equipment
- Assists service technicians as needed including delivery of parts
- Assists service technicians with repairing servicing and moving equipment
- May participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
- Operates and maintains vehicles tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Responsible for cleanliness of lot and maintaining landscaping of the store grounds.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A valid Indiana drivers license
- Must be able to operate residential & large farm equipment
- Be able to climb up and down equipment
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Be able to operate a pickup truck w/trailer for lawn & garden deliveries
- Be on time every day
This position requires working around different crop dust and requires the use of a pressure washer to clean the exterior of farm equipment.
HOURS:
Monday Friday 7:30 to 5:00
Saturday-as needed 7:30 to 12:00
Two 15 minute breaks
One hour lunch
