Maintenance Technician

Shift: Varies Approx 10 hours a week during the hours of Monday Friday 7AM - 4PM

Salary: $22.00/hr

Location: Appleton WI

Job Duties:

• Ensures timely completion (48 hours) of all assigned work orders.
• Assess diagnose and complete repairs on equipment such as imops vacuums sweepers or scrubbers.
• Use of hand and power tools on a regular basis (wrenches screwdrivers drills etc.)
• Assists in prioritizing work orders and monitoring maintenance of equipment and building.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• General knowledge of components and pumps (vacuums/sweepers)
• Ability to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues with machinery

• Knowledge of wiring controls and automatic systems

• Ability to identify diagnose and correct the damaged equipment
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multi-meters and gauges
• Knowledge of battery-operated machinery
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus
• Experience in building maintenance such as small drywall repairs fixtures and painting (Preferred)

Safety

• Follows all company safety policies and local state and federal regulations.
• Understand how to safely operate and maintain equipment; Inspects equipment before each use; uses personal protective equipment when necessary.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2-years work experience in similar type role.
• Must be able to work on call;
• You must be 18 years old.
• For safety reasons you must be able to speak English.
• Ability to lift (including over your head) up to 50 pounds frequently or if more than 50 pounds with lift assistance.
• You must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
• Good driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.
