About the Position

As a Floor Technician at Office Pride you will play a critical role in maintaining and restoring hard floors and carpeted surfaces across a variety of commercial facilities. This position requires an experienced professional who takes pride in delivering high quality floor care services with attention to detail professionalism and consistency.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated bilingual team member with experience in commercial floor care including scrubbing stripping waxing burnishing carpet cleaning and specialty floor maintenance. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic positive attitude and commitment to excellence.

Schedule: Full-time primarily evenings and nights
Additional weekday and occasional weekend work will be required based on project schedules and customer needs.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

Perform commercial floor care services including:

Floor stripping sealing and waxing
Deep scrubbing and refinishing
High speed burnishing
Carpet extraction and low moisture carpet cleaning
Spot removal and deodorization
Rubber floor cleaning and restoration
Operating auto scrubbers burnishers extractors and other floor equipment
Properly mix and use cleaning chemicals according to company and safety standards
Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
Complete assigned projects efficiently and thoroughly
Follow safety procedures and use PPE appropriately
Communicate professionally with supervisors team members and customers
Assist with general cleaning duties when needed

Floor Technician Requirements

Minimum 2 years of commercial floor care experience required
Experience with stripping and waxing VCT floors required
Experience operating commercial floor equipment required
Bilingual English/Spanish required (must be able to communicate effectively in both languages)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable punctual and organized
Ability to lift equipment and supplies and work in physically demanding environments
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
Must be authorized to work in the United States
