Job Summary
Summary
The Quality Specialist serves as a key contributor to the organizations Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring timely execution of required actions maintaining rigorous documentation standards facilitating effective training programs to promote quality awareness and supporting the smooth implementation of audit processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and maintenance of document control and training systems.
- Manage the internal audit calendar and ensure thorough documentation of audit findings and follow-up actions
- Support the timely execution of both internal and external corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers by assisting with tasks such as data gathering root cause analysis documentation and other quality-related functions.
- Contribute to additional assignments and special projects as needed
Critical Competencies
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools to support documentation data analysis and quality system management.
- Highly adaptable and efficient able to shift between diverse tasks while maintaining focus and composure under pressure.
- Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail ensuring compliance with QMS standards and audit requirements.
- Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills supporting timely execution of audits corrective actions and training initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in compliance
- Quality Management System (QMS) Experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- ASQ Quality management system training
