Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop enhance and maintain mainframe-based payroll applications supporting large-scale payroll processing.
- Analyze payroll business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using mainframe technologies.
- Develop and modify programs in COBOL Assembler Easytrieve and related languages.
- Create maintain and execute JCL for batch payroll processing and reporting.
- Develop and maintain online payroll transactions using CICS including screen development using CICS Maps / CATELON.
- Design write and optimize DB2 and IMS database access queries and programs.
- Support scheduling and automation of payroll jobs using CA Scheduler (or equivalent workload schedulers).
- Work with Rocket Software Mobius for payroll report management archive and retrieval.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve payroll processing errors production incidents and data discrepancies.
- Participate in system testing payroll parallel runs regression testing and production migrations.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations security standards audit requirements and SLA commitments.
- Collaborate with business analysts payroll operations QA infrastructure and production support teams.
