Job Summary
Join us as an Interim Intake Mental Health Counselor!
Monday-Friday - 7:00AM - 3:30PM - No Weekends
The Interim Intake Mental Health Counselor under the supervision of the Director of Intake and Chief Admissions Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu on intake waiting room. The role involves conducting safety checks patient monitoring de-escalating acute situations and providing supportive interactions with patients.
Successful candidates will have:
High school diploma.
Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record required; experience with Electronic Health Record.
Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.
Previous experience in psychiatric or substance inpatient restraint reduction de-escalation and crisis intervention is preferred.

Compensation will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience.
$20.11 - $24.00
