Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: York ME
Position Type: Travel / Local
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Day Shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in York ME.
Position Review / Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures and build imaging protocols
- Screen patients for contraindications and MRI safety concerns
- Follow ACR and facility safety standards
- Educate and prepare patients for procedures
- Monitor patients visually and verbally during imaging
- Maintain patient confidentiality and safety at all times
- Operate imaging equipment and assist with patient care
- Monitor equipment status and maintain clean work environment
- Assist with inventory and departmental operations
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Associate Degree or Certificate from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Must maintain current state licensure
- Influenza vaccination required per Maine regulations unless approved medical exemption is provided
