Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and this role you will support a caring environment through teamwork integrity and a reliable agile approach while helping staff patients and visitors feel confident throughout their experience.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry for employees visitors and/or contractors while following site protocols for restricted areas and sensitive locations.
• Support emergency preparedness activities by assisting with de-escalation directing people during urgent events and reporting hazards maintenance concerns and/or suspicious activity according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
