The Role
We are seeking an Avionics Technician to support avionics manufacturing and integration in our Huntington Beach facility. You will build wire harnesses assemble and test avionics subassemblies and support integration into our final UAS products. This role requires strong electrical workmanship attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced documentation-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate wire harnesses (cut/strip crimp terminate label lace/overbraid as required) to workmanship standards
Solder and rework electronic assemblies as needed including PCBAs and connector terminations
Modify and integrate COTS components per engineering instructions
Read and execute work from controlled documentation (work instructions drawings schematics) with revision discipline
Record build steps inspection results and traceability in the manufacturing execution system (MES)
Flash/load and verify correct software/firmware configurations; document results
Assemble troubleshoot and repair avionics stacks and related components
Perform electrical and functional tests (e.g. continuity insulation resistance functional checks) and support integration into electromechanical assemblies
Maintain tools and equipment including calibration status and preventative maintenance
Maintain 5S work areas follow safety/ESD practices complete in-process inspections and close work orders
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
1 years manufacturing wire harnesses and/or electromechanical assemblies
1 years using electronic test equipment (DMM bench power supply DAQ/test fixtures etc.)
Working knowledge of basic electronics theory and troubleshooting fundamentals
Ability to work from technical documentation schematics and engineering drawings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail quality-focused workmanship and strong execution pace
Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection methods
Preferred Qualifications
Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 certification(s)
Experience in robotics defense aerospace or avionics manufacturing
Experience in a high-production or prototype environment building harnesses and electromechanical assemblies

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and training critical skills and business considerations.
