Job Title: RN Ambulatory (Internal Medicine)
Location: Syracuse NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local : Up to $56/hr
Travel : Up to $65/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours Monday Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Ambulatory (Internal Medicine) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/internal medicine setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications treatments and patient education per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to care teams promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferably EPIC
- Assist physicians with examinations procedures and follow-up care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies infection control and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State required
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
- Experience in hospitals of similar or greater size/trauma level preferred
- Level 1 Trauma Hospital experience highly preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Clean professional license history required
