Essential Functions:
- Assists with the management of innovation projects from inception to commercialization ensuring adherence to timelines milestones and deliverables.
- Provides technical expertise and engineering support for the development of pediatric medical devices including prototyping testing and design.
- Facilitates effective communication and collaboration with clinical innovators external partners and internal teams.
- Participates in training programs focused on front-end innovation human-centric observation techniques needs identification concept generation and intellectual property strategy.
- Assists in developing regulatory and reimbursement strategies as well as business plans for new medical technologies including market analysis and customer discovery.
- Engages with medical innovators to identify unmet medical needs and opportunities for innovation through clinical immersion and observation
- Prepares and presents project documentation including invention disclosures grant applications and progress reports to support the commercialization process.
Education Requirement:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business or related field required.
Masters Degree or PhD in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering Business Administration or related field preferred.
Skills:
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex problems.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals/disciplines.
- Strong communicator both written and verbal.
Experience:
- Current US Resident and Citizen required.
- One year of related experience preferred.
