Job Summary
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist CT (Community)
Location: Syracuse NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Up to $61/hr (Local)
Up to $70/hr (Travel) Based on Experience
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 11:00 PM 7:30 AM Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours Monday Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist CT for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians and radiologists
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations
- Explain procedures and address patient concerns
- Operate CT and radiology equipment to obtain diagnostic images
- Ensure radiation safety and protection practices are followed
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation in RIS system
- Identify and report equipment issues
- Follow departmental imaging protocols and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of imaging rooms and equipment
- Participate in on-call weekends and holiday coverage
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required
- Active New York State License/Registration required
- Minimum 1 year CT experience required
- Knowledge of imaging techniques and radiation safety
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance
