Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will report to the Facilities department at the Player Development Complex and/or TD Ballpark in Dunedin Florida. Under general supervision this role performs custodial duties related to the care and cleaning of the interior and exterior of the assigned facility.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs routine inspections of building cleanliness and overall general appearance reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of all interior and exterior areas.
  • Service clean or supply restrooms including admin grounds and concourse.
  • Clean building floors as needed by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Manages all cardboard in accordance with department standard operating procedures.
  • Clean windows glass partitions or mirrors.
  • Dust furniture walls machines or equipment.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Pressure washing various areas within the concourse and bowl area.
  • Complete minor repairs and building improvements.
  • Move heavy furniture equipment or supplies either manually or by using hand trucks.
  • Provides operational support for events including but not limited to set-up and tear-down of tables chairs equipment and supplies.
  • Assist trade workers and maintenance technicians in performing assigned tasks.
  • Paint building interiors and exteriors.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions.
  • Tracks and monitors work orders daily.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:

  • Facilities Management Software or CMMS
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Word



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of routine cleaning and chemical usage.
  • Strong computer and mobile device skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic maintenance skills a plus.
  • Highly motivated and adaptable with a positive attitude.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legally able to work in the United States
  • Available to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
