Budget Analyst Supervisor

• Bachelors degree required in accounting business administration or a related field that includes direct experience in accounting or management.
  
• Education or experience in a related field preferred.
  
• Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible accounting or budgeting or directly related experience.
  
• Demonstrated experience in leading people is required although this may be from roles other than formal supervisory experience.
  

• Experience in government accounting and budgeting is preferred (including Statewide Accounting Budgeting and Human Resources System (SABHRS) and IBARS).

  Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

The Water Quality Division Fiscal Section Supervisor works to support and implement the Departments mission to protect sustain and improve a clean and healthful environment to benefit present and future generations. the Fiscal Section Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations budgets and contracts of the Water Quality Division. This includes supporting four bureaus with various funding sources such as State Special Revenue Federal Grants and General Fund. . The Fiscal Section Supervisor oversees division-wide fiscal operations supporting the divisions programs and activities to ensure they are carried out efficiently and effectively.
