What does an Architectural Draftsman do at Bonaventure

Produce architectural drawings in Revit including plans elevations sections and details

Assist in developing permit and construction document sets

Update drawings based on architect redlines consultant input and field conditions

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural MEP civil and landscape disciplines

Maintain Revit models in accordance with office BIM standards

Assist with as-built drawings and construction revisions

Support RFIs architectural submittal reviews and permit revisions

Organize drawing sheets notes and schedules accurately and consistently

Required Qualifications

Minimum 35 years of experience in an architectural or AEC office

Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for construction documentation

Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and detailing

Working knowledge of building materials assemblies and construction methods

Ability to read and interpret architectural and consultant drawings

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors degree in Architectural Technology Drafting or Architecture

Experience with multi-family residential or commercial project types

Familiarity with local codes zoning and permit submittal processes

Experience with AutoCAD Bluebeam SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite

Revit family creation or office standards experience
