- Supervise and motivate employees train and develop team members as well as conduct performance evaluations provide feedback and address any issues.
- Train and develop team members.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day planning activities and a team of planners or analysts.
- Develop implement and monitor production supply chain or operational plans.
- Review forecasts capacity and resource constraints to create accurate and actionable plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales procurement and operations to align plans with organizational objectives.
- Monitor performance against plans and initiate corrective actions to meet targets.
- Analyze data to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities in planning processes.
- Prepare and present planning reports KPIs and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Maintain and improve planning systems tools processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and relevant regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
How to thrive in this role
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management Engineering Urban Planning or related field.
- 35 years of experience in planning scheduling or a related field including 12 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proficient in planning software (e.g. SAP Maximo Oracle MS Project or other planning tools).
- Proficient in Office365 Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) & PowerBI
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree or professional certification (e.g. CPIM PMP AICP).
- Experience with lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with forecasting tools or predictive analytics.
