Job Description
- Provide direct technical support for the legacy tax management system.
- Participate in requirements gathering system analysis design coding testing implementation and maintenance activities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues within mainframe applications and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop modify and maintain COBOL-based applications in a mainframe environment.
- Work collaboratively with support team members to identify optimal solutions for system issues and enhancements.
- Perform unit testing system testing integration testing and support UAT activities.
- Implement legislative and operational updates to legacy tax systems.
- Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
- Ensure adherence to software development standards quality assurance methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Support batch and online processing environments using JCL and CICS.
- Assist with debugging performance tuning and production support activities.
