Position Details:
Reports to:SIS & Registrar Manager
Location:District Service Center in Plymouth MN
Work Schedule:This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 40 hours per week 12-month position 261 days
This position is an Administrative Support Grade V position and follows SEIU Local 284 union contract
Salary:Follows the SEIU Local 284 Salary Schedule Grade V: $25.95 - $27.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Education and Experience Requirements
- Six (6) years administrative support experience in an office work environment.
- Requires technical skills and experience in working in business services administrative or school setting or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge skills and abilities.
Substitution Allowed:
- College or Vocational Education in business office skills may be substituted for the General Experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of desktop computer hardware and software systems including software products such as Microsoft Office or Google Apps and multi-faceted data or database management systems.
Knowledge:
- Thorough knowledge of the processes and procedures used within the department and district-wide;
- Working knowledge of mathematical processes and number concepts and perform complex calculations;
- Thorough knowledge of general fund accounting expenditure tracking and general business practices to effectively monitor budgets.
Abilities:
- Write grammatically correct routine business correspondence;
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
- Foster a positive and effective working environment and cooperative working relationships;
- Work without supervision and follow through on assignments with minimal or no direction;
- Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities;
- Perform effectively in environments with workload changes and conflicting demands with minimal direction;
- Enter accurate data review for accuracy and perform functions to develop and create data reports;
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive and personal information;
- Recognize recommend and provide input into the implementation process of a more effective method to work operations.
Core Responsibilities:
This position supports the accurate and timely data entry of Targeted Services/Credit Recovery/Independent Study data within our student information system software following objectives:
- Validate student and parent records
- Process student enrollment information
- Work independently and complete check-ins with department leadership to monitor project completion
- Prepare and execute data imports as needed including high-volume imports for the online school Northern Star Online
- Support other district data technicians and SIS & Registrar Manager as needed
- Core data technician duties this position serves as the primary point of contact for member districts regarding MDE reporting including coordinating training and facilitating meetings.
- Manages districtwide records requests supports the MARSS Coordinator and assists with ALC billing.
