Job Summary
Job Title: RN Ambulatory (Hematology/Oncology)
Location: Syracuse NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local: Up to $56/hr
Travel: Up to $65/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours Monday Friday
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Ambulatory (Hematology/Oncology) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to hematology and oncology patients in ambulatory setting
- Perform patient assessments and monitor condition changes
- Administer medications IV therapies chemotherapy and infusion treatments as ordered
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans medications and side effects
- Collaborate with physicians infusion teams and healthcare staff
- Monitor and document patient responses in EMR (EPIC preferred)
- Ensure compliance with infection control and oncology care standards
- Respond to adverse reactions or patient emergencies
- Provide compassionate support to oncology patients
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (NY)
- BLS required
- 1.5 years acute care experience
- Outpatient oncology/infusion experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
