Place of Performance: Dental Hygienist services will be performed on-site in the Health Services Department at the Federal Detention Center in Miami FL 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between 6:00am-2:30pm. You must pass mandatory background credit check and drug screening.
Pay:$42.83 per hour.

Hours:40 hours per week Monday through Friday between 6:00am-2:30pm.
Education and Experience:
- Must have one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Must have current BLS.
- Must have DentalHygienist registration.
Description of Duties:
- Provide dental prophylaxis on the AICs who are ref erred by the dental staff
- Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient
- Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis
- Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist
- Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff
- Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by the dental staff
- Assist with Dental A&O exams and any other duties requested by the Chief Dental Officer.
