Compensation: $105000 $140000 DOE
A busy plaintiff-side civil litigation practice in West Los Angeles is seeking a senior paralegal to manage the operational side of an active and growing litigation docket including active wildfire mass tort matters. This role works closely with a single supervising attorney and offers significant responsibility autonomy and direct involvement in complex plaintiff litigation. The position also offers the opportunity to deepen hands-on experience in large-scale plaintiff litigation and take on increasing responsibility within a fast-moving practice.
Responsibilities
Calendaring and docket management across California courts JAMS and appellate matters
Discovery coordination including written discovery production indices privilege logs and meet-and-confer correspondence
Third-party subpoena practice
Mass tort workflow management including plaintiff fact sheets and damages questionnaires
E-filing through multiple California platforms
Guardian ad Litem applications and Government Code 910 claims
Lien resolution mediation support expert document assembly and client onboarding
Administrative and secretarial support to the supervising attorney
Qualifications
Five or more years of California civil litigation paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of the Discovery Act and California Rules of Court
Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills
California e-filing experience across multiple systems
Ability to manage overlapping deadlines and active litigation dockets
Preferred Experience
Mass tort or multi-plaintiff litigation experience
Brown Greer portal or MDL Centrality experience
Plaintiff fact sheet workflow management
Relativity or other document review platforms
Lien resolution involving Medicare Medi-Cal ERISA or hospital liens
