Utility Dishroom Tech

Job Summary:

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm

Washes and stores dishes pots and other small wares; removes trash and cardboard; sweeps and mops; breaks-down and cleans dish machine; performs other cleaning as needed. Must understand testing and using of chemicals and cleaning supplies. Follows proper quality assurance and infection control procedures when working in kitchen; Demonstrates proper use maintenance and sanitation of all equipment related to area of responsibility; Helps break down and put away freight; Communicates suggestions concerns problems and unsafe conditions promptly to appropriate supervisor or manager; Exhibits professional courtesy toward patients visitors customers and employees; Performs other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Washington Food Handlers Card.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and follow recipes and meal plans.
• Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
