JOB DESCRIPTION:

The tube laser operator is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining the tube laser.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setup operate and monitor programs on the tube laser
• Read work orders to determine programming requirements.
• Perform consistent and accurate quality checks to detect and prevent part defects.
• Load and unload material.
• Accurately complete paperwork for work orders inspections and material storage.
• Troubleshoot cut issues and know how to fix them.
• Perform prescribed & preventative maintenance.
• Find pull and load material into the machine

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Strong work ethic
• High School diploma or GED required
• Team player with a positive can do attitude
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform precise measurements using a caliper/precision measuring tools
• Blueprint Reading

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• Previous tube laser set-up operating and/or programming experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A certificate from college or technical school is a plus.

This is a full time position in the competitive and challenging metal manufacturing field. The pay range/rate of pay for this position may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to the position offered location education training and/or experience.
